What’s Your Biggest Regret as the Parent of a Special Needs Child

For many special needs parents, the biggest regret is waiting too long to ask for help or connect with other parents facing similar caretaking challenges. Sharing the load with peers who understand tends to make the day-to-day easier than trying to manage it alone.

To get involved in organizations with other parents so we can organize and simplify the caretaking and the raising of your child/my child together. Because doing it with peers is a lot easier than doing it on your own. And that’s my biggest regret.
